Brow Lamination Aftercare
Aftercare
First 24 hours
· Leave on last step of lamination (Regenerating Cream) for 24 hours or until it wears off
· No exfoliation for 24 hours (physical or chemical)
· No tanning for 24 hours
· No saunas, hot tubs, underwater activities for 24 hours
Beyond
· No harsh rubbing of the brows especially while washing the face and applying skincare, this may cause breakage
· Use your aftercare oil once a day
· Groom your brows with a spoolie to keep them where you want them!
What to Expect
During
· Some mild but normal symptoms including mild tingling, slight redness due to brushing the hairs, and slight warmth in the area may occur with the brow lamination depending on the sensitivity of my skin during the procedure and will subside in 24 hours
Immediately After
· Immediately following, your brows will be darker and slicked to the skin appearing more dramatic
· You may have some redness around the brow area
Day 2-14+
· After a day or two and gently cleansing the brow area, the brows will appear lighter and more fluffy and natural
· You will want to keep up with brushing your brows into place and using your aftercare to keep them hydrated
· The stain on the skin will last on average 5 days but up to 7-10 depending on the client's skin type and desired brow color
· Over the course of several weeks, the tint will gradually lighten and fade on the brow hairs
Week 4-6
· Around 4 weeks you may want to come in for a shape and tint to freshen the brows up or treat yourself to a hydrating brow mask with the Brow Lamination Maintenance treatment
· Depending on your hair growth cycle at the time of lamination and type of brow hair, you may notice lamination results dissipating around 6 weeks but it can last up to 8 weeks
